Wildlife Video Editing And Marketing For Guides

Put Your Wildlife Video Clips To Work For You

So you've filmed some amazing wildlife videos while out with your guests, but you just can't find the time to edit and upload them to your online channels.

There is a solution, just submit the raw footage here and Staycation Safari will edit it for you and put it to work to generate brand awareness and potential traffic and bookings for your business.

How It Works

Showcase your guiding expertise and experience to potential guests by commenting on and narrating during the wildlife video clip you've filmed.

So the best videos to choose for this are ones that will attract attention, but also ones where you can explain or illustrate something to the viewer.

You do it in the field every day, now just put that commentary to work on your video clip.

Record yourself talking on a phone or computer about the scene unfolding in your video, send both files to us and a recent picture of yourself, and Staycation Safari will edit it as follows...

We add your commentary and the photograph of you, with your name and company name to the video, that pops up each time you speak. We provide a link to your business website, above the fold in the YouTube description box. Take a look at an example in the wild dog vs hyena video here.

We also add your video clip, name and business name to the Staycation Safari game drive page and if the video is long and interesting enough, we build a full page for it on the Staycation Safari website. See an example page here.

Then we post images and video clips on the Staycation Safari Facebook page (11 000+ followers) and in Facebook groups like Kruger Sightings (300 000+ members), with a link to your website. In addition, We make posts to Instagram and several of our safari-themed websites like African Safari Journals and Top Safari Guides.

So don't allow your amazing wildlife videos to gather electronic dust. Send them to us so that we can put them to work for you.

By clicking on the send button to upload your files, you agree to the terms and conditions here and the Staycation Safari privacy policy.

Terms And Conditions

You Must Own The Copyright

The video you submit must have been filmed by you, and you must own all the rights to it. You may not upload anything filmed or owned by someone else.

Permission To Post On Our Channels And Sublicence

You give us permission to post your edited video on any or all of our online channels, and to sublicence it, including but not restricted to Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and websites such as Staycation Safari, African Safari Journals, Top Safari Guides and African Safari Pictures. Youtube is not a sponsor of this initiative.

The Sighting Quality Is More Important Than The Technique Or Video Quality

So you filmed an amazing wildlife video, but it was shaky and blurry in places, and the sound was bad and the footage quality was low. No problem, submit it anyway. The subject is the most important part, regardless of the technical quality.

Permission To Monetize

None of Staycation Safaris media channels are monetized, so we don't earn anything from your submission. But if we do monetize in future you give permission to allow it for your clip on our channels and sublicences.

You Retain The Copyright

By sending your video and commentary you are giving us permission to edit and use it, but you retain the complete copyright over it.

Your Video Might Not Be Accepted

We reserve the right to decline your video if it's not what we're looking for. In that case you will be notified and your clip deleted from our server.

No AI Generated Videos Allowed

We only accept wildlife videos filmed in real world conditions, all AI clips will be rejected.

Permission To Edit And Add Guide Commentary

You grant us permission to edit your clip as we see fit and to add your commentary.

Exclusivity

YouTube has a strict policy against duplicate content, so if the video you want to submit appears anywhere on YouTube already, in your channel or another, please don't submit it here. And the same goes for any other place online that your video might appear that has an exclusivity clause. Places like Facebook and Instagram are fine, so if your video already appears there it's no problem.
